CareerBuilder.com compared compensation and job satisfaction to one's birth order and astrology sign. 8,700 people were surveyed. Here's what they found:

- Scorpio, Leo, Taurus and Cancer signs were most likely to earn $100,000 or more annually while Aquarius and Capricorn signs were most likely to earn $35,000 or less.
- middle children are the most satisfied with their current positions while the last born is the least satisfied.
- Pisces, Sagittarius and Capricorn signs reported being the most satisfied with their current jobs while Gemini and Cancer signs reported being the least satisfied.

Opening the windows during a hurricane will keep the house from exploding, right?
WRONG. You should keep them closed. The theory behind this storm survival myth is that opening windows will help regulate air pressure. But in reality enough air leaks through the windows to stabilize air pressure. Your best bet? Keep 'em closed and stay away from them.

You only need to protect openings facing the ocean or gulf, right?
NO. Because hurricanes are a moving, rotating storm, winds can come from any direction, which can change rapidly if you are near the eye. Your best bet is to protect windows and doors on all sides of your home.

You should tape glass with a big X, right?
NOT TRUE! Taping glass does nothing to address the main point of protection – keeping the glass in its frame and securely attached to the home.

There are only six lists of tropical storms and hurricane names that continue to rotate. Usually the names repeat every six years. The lists only change when there is a hurricane so devastating, the name is retired because using it again could be considered insensitive. The name is then not used for at least ten years.
